Yes we do, Access Plus is the highest ranking IPAF training provider in Scotland and ranks within the top 10 country wide.

We have state of the art training facilities and can also train at your premises or on site providing you have adequate facilities.

We provide a full range of health and safety courses, please call or complete the enquiry form if you do not see the course listed that you are interested in.

Training is paid in full prior to the training taking place, unless you currently hold an account with us. No training cards will be sent out until payment has been received in full.

A PAL (Powered Access License) card is photographic evidence that you have undergone and successfully completed IPAF training.

If you trained with Access Plus and have lost your card, simply give us a ring on 0800 32 88 178. We will clarify your details with IPAF and arrange for a new card to be issued. There will be a small administrative fee for this service.

All employers are legally obliged to ensure that if you are using any type of MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) that you are adequately trained.

IPAF’s training courses are recognized across the world and as Access Plus is an IPAF registered training center we deliver these courses to the highest level.

Your employer’s obligations are stated in the following regulations:

  • WAHR – The working at height regulations (2005)
  • PUWER – The provision and use of work equipment regulations
  • LOLER – The lift operating and lifting equipment regulations (1998)
  • HSWA – The health and safety at work act (1974)
  • MHSWR – The management of health and safety at work regulations (1999)

Access Plus are IPAF and PASMA accredited centres and we offer all their courses.

We also offer a complete range of working at height training in conjunction with our sister company training plus. These courses include:

  • Asbestos awareness training
  • Manual handling training
  • Fire awareness
  • Emergency first aid at work
  • Abrasive wheels
  • Ladder safety

We run PASMA and IPAF courses daily and all other work at height courses regularly throughout the week. In the unlikely event that we do not have the training course running to suit your dates, we will do our best to organize another date to suit you.
